Airloom Microgrids
Valhalla
Energy Ltd is proactively addressing grid congestion by implementing
utility-scale Airloom Technology wind farms combined with advanced energy
storage systems at selected substations throughout the U.S. These substations—essential hubs in electricity
generation and transmission—frequently encounter limitations during peak demand
periods, making them prime candidates for localized microgrids.
Valhalla will provide wholesale power directly to these microgrids through Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with end customers, ensuring dependable electricity at significantly reduced market rates. This strategy offers affordable energy access while enhancing grid resilience.
In addition to substations, Valhalla’s deployment strategy also focuses on high-demand commercial and public sector areas—including industrial parks, hospital complexes, data centers, municipal facilities, college campuses, and military installations—where grid reliability is often problematic.
For all applications, Valhalla Energy ensures scalable, cost-effective energy ecosystems designed for affordability and performance.
Airloom
Energy,
located in Laramie, Wyoming, serves as Valhalla’s reliable manufacturing
partner. Their proprietary wind systems each generate 2.5 megawatts
(MW)—before considering the wind capacity in the area where the Airloom
Microgrid Project will be implemented—and are designed for optimal
cost-efficiency through five interlocking innovations:
- ⚙️ Short lever arms – 30-ft wings vs. traditional 180-ft blades
- 🧵 Tension-based structure – lightweight steel cables replace heavy towers
- ⚡ High-RPM generation – 5,000 rpm enables compact, powerful generators
- 🧩 Human-scale modular parts – built on motorcycle-grade components for scalability
- 🚚 Simplified logistics – smaller components streamline transport, assembly, and deployment
Strategic Integration of Scalable Energy Storage Solutions
To improve power reliability and load responsiveness between Airloom Technology’s utility-scale wind assets and our target microgrid deployments, Valhalla Energy Ltd is implementing a comprehensive energy storage array. This guarantees dynamic, on-demand energy delivery aligned with grid independence and peak performance requirements.
We've partnered with Lion Energy (American Fork, UT), utilizing their POWERsave™ Commercial, Industrial/Utility (I/U), and Large-Scale Energy Storage platforms. Their Container Series energy storage systems are modular, outdoor-ready, and optimized for utility grid-tied and behind-the-meter deployments.
Scalable Infrastructure: Battery capacity options from 1.72 MWh to 5 MWh per unit; Power Conversion Systems ranging from 80 kW to 2 MW; and Units are fully parallelable for expanded output and reserve capacity.
